A livewire frontman who always brings the energy and banter to the stage. Andy has spent his life in and around music, from stadium performances as a Guards Bandsman, to running community music groups and hosting live music events. With Warehouse of Thieves, he drives the band with strong vocal performances and rhythm ukulele, as well as keeping the audience in the loop, clapping, singing and laughing along.
With synthesizer and keyboard in tow, Jerry is integral in providing Warehouse of Thieves with their signature full, rich sound. He’s equally at home driving songs forward with a full piano sound, or washing the onlooking audience with waves of powerful, emotive synth. Jerry is another lifelong musician, leading choirs, teaching several instruments and composing and arranging music.
Irrevocably rooted in, and influenced by the nineties, Matt provides lead ukulele riffs and solos using an array of atmospheric effects, as well as many of the thoughtful and well-crafted lyrics for the band’s original songs. In bands as a teenager onwards, in 2010 he swapped his guitar for a ukulele, but continues to use his new instrument as a musical tool to explore melodic and rhythmic ideas.
Alongside Jake, Tim is the father in the father and son duo, Dead Mans Uke. With Warehouse of Thieves, he takes up the sticks to add percussion and drumming flair. A rare drummer who knows when to rock out with a solo and when to allow the band’s melodic moments to breathe with dialled-down beats and percussive flourishes. A prolific musician who adds style alongside great musicianship. He’s just a cool guy.
Injecting some youth (and good looks) to the line-up is bassist Jake, who in this guise swaps the upright bass of Dead Mans Uke for bass guitar with Warehouse of Thieves. A natural, intuitive musician, Jake anchors the band’s tunes with skilful, thoughtful basslines that complement the original, intricate nature of the band’s orchestration.
